The Moray Flying Club

New FULL TIME instructor starts 26th August 2008!!!!

The Moray Flying Club is a registered training facility for both the JAR Private Pilots Licence and associated ratings, including the NPPL (National Private Pilots Licence). It is here to ensure Service Personnel have the opportunity to learn to fly and enjoy their license once issued. Membership is available for Associates (i.e. those not in the Services) and they are made most welcome as they help to keep the club going when all the service personnel are away on detachments! We encourage both training and touring and have full time, and local part time Instructors (both Civilian and Service) available, giving full time cover to our flying program.

We operate a first come first served policy on bookings and use an online e-allocator booking system within club programming. All flights are "subject to weather" and we keep a reserve list of bookings, in case anyone cancels their flight.

Many members fly for fun and others are aiming at a flying career, so there is tapes and CD Rom ground school available to its members, some for a small rental charge - others by simply signing out and in. We have a full set of up to date Civil Aviation Publications including the UK Air Pilot on CD Rom, as well as all the JAR Documents. We look forward to hearing from you......!
